A scam accusation was circulating on Reddit and ranking for 3D AI Studio’s review searches. Three months later the accusation is off page one and the Reddit slot belongs to three threads we started.

our threads hold the Reddit slot, under Trustpilot

from accusation ranking to a clean page one

The situation

For a paid AI tool with no free trial, the reviews search is the checkout page. 3D AI Studio had a scam narrative circulating on Reddit, and the accusation thread ranked on page one for their review searches — right next to their 4.6-star Trustpilot page. Every developer who googled before paying read an accusation first.

We met it head-on from real users’ accounts over three months: a blunt first-person review, a comparison thread against the category’s big names that drew 37 answers, and a thread that puts the scam question right in its title — answered with receipts. Twenty-plus showcase posts of real generated models backed it all up.

The accusation thread is gone from page one. The Reddit slot — position 2, right under Trustpilot — now belongs to our three threads, and the top answer addresses the scam claim directly.

What we did

Answer the accusation instead of hiding from it

The challenge
Our approach
A scam accusation ranked on page one for the reviews search. For a paid tool with no free trial, that is the purchase decision.
We put the scam question in a thread title ourselves and answered it with receipts — so the searcher lands on the honest version, not the accusation.
Denials from the brand would read as damage control.
Everything came from real users’ accounts with history in the gamedev and AI art subreddits: a blunt review, a comparison thread with 37 answers, showcase posts of real output.
One thread alone couldn’t hold the slot against a circulating narrative.
Three threads now stack in the Reddit position with sitelinks under them — and the accusation thread is nowhere on page one.

The scam question now gets our answer.

Page one for the reviews search today: Trustpilot at 4.6, then our thread asking the scam question outright — 13 answers, the top one dismantling the accusation — with our comparison thread and blunt review stacked underneath as sitelinks. The rest of the page is YouTube reviews and the brand’s own pages.

Captured August 23, 2026, US results, no personalization filters. The accusation thread still exists somewhere — just not anywhere a buyer looks.

All the upsides of having a working Reddit marketing strategy

If your category's subreddit moderates you out...

that is not the end of the strategy. It is the start of it.

The room where your buyers already are...

is usually one door over from the room with your industry's name on it.

Every thread we publish in a sub...

you own stays indexed. You stop paying us, it keeps ranking.

Papermark

Reddit is doing so much for us in search. Papermark is now the top recommendation on Reddit in our category, and that matters.

Paul picks a CPM number and then creates a reddit campaign to hit that. Like Chappelle writes jokes.

Great results so far. The subreddit AEO work especially attracts the leads we love: qualified, not problematic, and with money.

Love it, this is great. More I say. Real, traceable Reddit users became leads and booked meetings.

Most agencies do a bit of everything for everyone. Paul picked the hardest channel on the internet and built real credibility on it. That's why I advise Spacestation.

Love it. Our AI citations have been rising steadily since June and the growth curve looks good. Even in negative threads about us there's now organic fightback.

Amazing, great job. We now hold multiple first-page Google spots for the exact terms our buyers search, from international tax to Shopify accountant.

Papermark

The top Reddit recommendation in its category, and climbing search because of it.

Reddit is looking good. I'm impressed by the work these guys have been doing. My only question was how we could press even harder.

We told Paul we only care about one thing: General Legal coming up when someone searches AI law firm. Now the top cited source in those AI answers is a Reddit thread his team made.

The AMA they ran with our pro player crushed my expectations. Ads, our subreddit, AI citations, they handle all of it.
