The short answer

r/Tirzeglutide publishes no karma or account age requirement, and almost every post stays up: about 96% in our sample, with no moderator removals at all. The rules that matter are about sourcing. Any mention of a source, a price, a location, a request for DMs or a link to another platform is not allowed. It is a slow room, about two posts a day with a couple of comments each, mostly people asking how to switch between drugs or whether a side effect is normal.

Who posts here

Knowledge levelBeginner to intermediate

Posters assume you know the drug names and their shorthand, and plenty of questions are about mixing and measuring vials. But the questions themselves are often basic, like whether to taper before switching, and they get answered patiently. The rules ban gatekeeping and shaming, so a newcomer question is safe here, it just may not get many replies.

  • People on tirzepatide who have stalled and are weighing a switch to retatrutide, or back again.
  • People stacking two GLP-1 drugs and asking how others time them.
  • Long-term users in maintenance, some of them using a low dose for inflammation or menopause symptoms.
  • First-timers describing their first injection and asking if what they feel is normal.
  • A noticeable share of non-English speakers, with replies in Spanish, German, Italian and Portuguese.

The rules, in the mods' words

  1. 1

No Sources, Prices, or Sourcing Activity

Posts or comments that mention sources, pricing, or include sourcing activity are not allowed and comments and posts will be removed. This includes all GLP-1s, peptides, medical supplies, references to geographical locations, requests for DMs, and invitations to other social media platforms. This is for the safety and preservation of the community.

  2. 2

    Be Supportive & Respectful

This community is a place for support. Avoid offensive language, personal attacks, gatekeeping, shaming, or any form of harassment toward your fellow Redditors.

  3. 3

    No Sales, Self-Promotion, or Spam

Refrain from sales, self-promotion, or spamming. Contribute meaningfully to discussions.

These are the rules as archived in January 2025. Rules change. Check the sidebar before you post.

The culture

r/Tirzeglutide is a small support group for people taking GLP-1 drugs, mostly tirzepatide and retatrutide, with semaglutide in the background. It is quiet: about two posts a day, and a typical post gets two comments. The point is shared experience, and the sidebar warns before anything else that sources are not allowed.

Almost half the posts are links, but nearly all of those are crossposts of a question someone already asked in a bigger GLP-1 subreddit. The original posts are short, about 44 words, and usually a single question: should I switch, should I stack, how do I go from a high dose of one drug to a low dose of another, is this reaction normal. The best-received post in recent months was a long personal account from someone in maintenance, linking a change in their appetite to new research on statins.

The live question is tirzepatide against retatrutide. Threads asking which is better draw the most comments, and the replies are personal histories rather than verdicts: one drug gave someone diarrhea, the other made someone tired, and several regulars say it differs from person to person.

What lands

  • A direct comparison question between two drugs, which gets long first-hand replies.
  • A long personal account with age, weight lost and time on the drug, especially from someone maintaining a loss.
  • Questions about stacking or switching with your current dose and how long you have been on it stated up front.
  • A clear description of a side effect, asking whether others have had it.

What gets removed or ignored

  • Anything naming a source or a price, in a post or a comment.
  • Mentioning your location, asking people to DM you, or inviting them to another platform. The rules treat all of these as sourcing.
  • Sales and self-promotion, which have their own rule.
  • Reddit's filters remove about 3.5% of posts. No moderator removals showed up in our sample, so a post that follows the rules is very likely to stay.

The unwritten rules

  • Crossposting your question from a larger GLP-1 subreddit is normal here and nobody minds.
  • Comments run longer than in most subreddits, about 22 words, because people explain their own history before they answer.
  • Replies are framed as what worked for the person writing. Expect several different answers and no consensus.
  • If you slip on sourcing, expect other members to remind you it is off limits before a moderator gets to it.

Self-promotion

The rule is short: no sales, self-promotion or spam, and contribute to the discussion. Combined with the sourcing ban, which covers prices, DMs and links to other platforms, there is no route for a seller of any kind. A founder or brand would find a small, kind audience that is here to compare notes, not to hear about products.

Common questions

How much karma do you need to post in r/Tirzeglutide?

No number is published, and there is no sign of a karma gate. About 96% of posts in our sample stayed up and Reddit's filters removed only around 3.5%.

Can I mention where I buy tirzepatide in r/Tirzeglutide?

No. The first rule bans any mention of sources, prices or sourcing activity in posts and comments. That includes naming a location, asking people to DM you, and inviting them to another social platform.

Can I promote a product in r/Tirzeglutide?

No. A separate rule bans sales, self-promotion and spam. The subreddit exists for people to share their own experiences, and posts that read as selling something do not fit.

What do people post about in r/Tirzeglutide?

Mostly switching and stacking: moving between tirzepatide and retatrutide, adding semaglutide, and how others handled the change. Side effect questions and longer personal updates make up most of the rest. Many posts are crossposts from bigger GLP-1 subreddits.

Data as of October 15, 2026. Numbers come from public Reddit data (the Arctic Shift archive and GummySearch) sampled on this date. Removal share counts posts taken down by moderators, AutoModerator or Reddit's own filters. Banner and icon belong to the community. Moderators change rules without notice, so treat the sidebar as the final word.
